Easy starting and good running tractor. Rear tires
are matched and in fair condition. Front tires should be replaced.
Sheet metal is fairly good, but hood has a small cut at muffler
opening. Adjustable front end and steering is in very good condition.
A1100R front axle has an older and well done repair that does
not show. The engine smokes and has a slight knock, so a ring
and valve job along with a bearing check is in order. The brakes
are stiff and need some attention.
Here are the BW production figures. 1506 BW's of this
style were produced over the production run from 1939 through
1947. 203 tractors were made in the 1947 model year. While not
a super rare tractor, very few BW's were made compared to the
total prodcution run of about 140000 B's of all types for those
years. The number of BW's made was about 1 percent of the total
production.
